Oppo announced the Oppo R17 on August 23rd with high-end specs and waterdrop display. Today, in the second flash sale, its 6GB+128GB variant was also available for 3199 yuan (~US 467). Other Oppo R17 variants such as 8GB+128GB is also on sale for 3,499 Yuan (~US 511), and fog light gradient (8GB+128GB) is going for 3,599 yuan (~US 526).
Oppo packs 6.4 inch waterdrop AMOLED display having 19:9 aspect ratio, Full HD+ resolution and much more. The beautiful display packs Corning Gorilla Glass 6 to protect it against accidental falls and breakage. It is powered by the Snapdragon 670 processor which is paired with Adreno 615 GPU for graphics intensive processes. It is available in two different RAM variants, one runs 6/64GB Storage and other is 8/128 GB storage. In connectivity, there’s a Bluetooth 5.0, WiFi, WiFi direct and GPS. You will also get a Hybrid Dual SIM Slot, which you can use to insert SIM along with the microSD card to increase the storage.
In the camera section, there’s a 25MP front facing camera for selfies. It also has 8 different modes and real time viewing of beauty effects. On the back, there’s a dual 21 megapixel + 8 megapixel sensor with Artificial Intelligence on board. It support VOOC fast charging with 35,00 mAh of battery and runs on Android 8.1 Oreo based ColorOS 5.2.
The Oppo R17 Pro will be available for purchase in China from mid-October.
