Xiaomi Mi 8 Youth will come in a Fantasy Blue Gradient Color

Xiaomi is arriving with the new Mi 8 Youth Edition on September 19th, and Meizu is also coming with Meizu 16X on the same day. As the launch date is nearing, the pace of new leaks and teasers have also increased. Everyday, we are seeing new information about the Mi 8 Youth Edition. Today, we have got to know about the new Mi 8 Youth edition fantasy blue gradient color. Xiaomi announced about the new color via its official Weibo handle by posting a new teaser video.

Last week, Xiaomi revealed the Xiaomi Mi 8 Youth edition golden pink gradient color in a similar kind of teaser video. Well, it seems that Xiaomi has neutralized the color choice among girls and boys by announcing the new fantasy blue gradient color. The device is already up for reservation from different online stores in China.

The new Mi 8 Youth edition is a little different from the standard Mi 8 edition as it carries a horizontal dual camera shooter, rather than the vertical one. Also, it is built using glass unlike the metallic and plastic design material on Mi 8 standard edition.

Apart from the new color and design aspects, Xiaomi Mi 8 Youth edition carries Snapdragon 710 SoC (eight core 2.2GHz)  coupled with 8GB of RAM having 128 GB of onboard storage as per the listing on TENAA. It includes 6.26 inch display with the resolution of 2280×1080 pixels having 19:9 aspect ratio. Xiaomi will make it compatible with Quick Charge 3.0 for the fast charging on its 3250 mAh battery. Mi 8 Youth edition will pack some AI oriented features in a bid to increase its overall efficiency and usage among user.  The device will come in three different internal storage variants – 32GB/64GB/128GB coupled with 4/6/8 GB of RAM. The storage can be expanded using the microSD card.

 

 

Qualcomm chipset will bring in the Adreno 616 graphics processor unit, helping device to give better performance while gaming and doing day-to-day tasks. In camera, there’s a 12 megapixel dual shooter on the rear with 24 megapixel sensor on the front. It is expected to be made available for a price of 1999 Yuan (~$290) in China.

Make sure to reserve your Mi 8 Youth before the launch, otherwise you will need to wait for some time to get hands-on the device.
