The Huawei Mate 20 series will launch in exactly a month and one day from today. The series will include the Mate 20, the Mate 20 Pro and the Mate 20 Porsche Design.

Ahead of the release, photos alleged to be that of the Mate 20’s protective cases have surfaced online. The cases sport a number of cut-outs for the phone’s cameras, ports, and fingerprint scanner.

The Mate 20 series will come with triple rear cameras but will have a different arrangement from that of the Huawei P20 Pro. Rather than a vertical and left corner arrangement, the cameras will be arranged in the middle to form a square with the LED flash and laser focus module.

These cases even have a cut-out for a fingerprint scanner which means the Mate 20 won’t have an in-display fingerprint sensor. There are cut-outs at the bottom too for the speaker, charging port, and audio jack. The volume rocker and power button are on the right which means the SIM tray is on the left.

Some of the images also show a mock-up of the phone’s display which sports a waterdrop notch and a slim lower bezel. The Mate 20 Pro, on the other hand, will have a much larger notch to house a plethora of sensors.

When the Mate 20 launches, alongside its siblings, they will be the first Huawei phones to come with the new 7nm Kirin 980 processor.
