Since September, Xiaomi has been releasing MIUI 10 Global Stable update for is smartphones. The POCO F1 was recently treated with MIUI 10 Global Stable ROM at the beginning of this month. Now the same update has been made available to Redmi Note 4, Redmi Note 4X and Redmi Note 6 Pro smartphones.
The Redmi Note 6 Pro has released in few markets such as Thailand and Indonesia. It is yet to arrive in major markets like China and India, but the Chinese manufacturer has now made the Android 8.1 Oreo based MIUI 10 Global Stable ROM available for it. The ROM can be installed manually by navigating to Settings > About Phone > System Update > Choose Update and then select the download file to install MIUI 10 Global Stable ROM.
The Chinese manufacturer has also released MIUI 10 Global Stable for Redmi Note 4/4X phone. The new update can be flashed after downloading it from this link. Owners of the Redmi Note 4/4X should be aware of the fact that the update is based on Android Nougat.
The Redmi Note 4 was launched with MIUI 8 skinned Android 6.0 Marshmallow OS. The Redmi 5 Plus, Redmi 6 pro and Redmi Y2 and the older Redmi Note 4 are all powered by Snapdragon 625 chipset. Except for Redmi Note 4, the other three phones have been provided with Android 8.0 Oreo based MIUI 10 Global Stable ROM.
The Redmi Note 4 user in India are now receiving the MIUI 10 Global Stable version through OTA update. The Redmi Note 6 Pro and Redmi Note 4X users are yet to receive the MIUI 10 Global Stable OTA update. The MIUI 10update brings various improvements such as gesture-based navigations, natural sound for notifications, revamped Recents menu and a refreshed UI.
