Xiaomi Redmi Note 6 Pro is now official in India. It has arrived as an incremental update for the well-received Redmi Note 5 Pro smartphone that was announced in February this year in the country. The Note 6 Pro borrows some of its specs from the Note 5 Pro. The rear shell of the phone is identical to the predecessor phone. The USP of the smartphone is that it comes with two rear cameras and two front-facing shooters. Moreover, it is equipped with a bigger notched display that offers a larger screen space.

The Xiaomi Redmi Note 6 Pro measures 157.9 x 76.4 x 8.3mm and it weighs 182 grams. In terms of dimensions and weight, there is not much difference between the Note 6 Pro and its predecessor. The Note 6 Pro is equipped with a large-sized IPS LCD screen of 6.26 inches. It features a larger notch since it houses two camera sensors, an earpiece, a notification LED and some other sensors. The Redmi Note 6 Pro offers a tall aspect ratio of 19:9. The display is shielded by a layer of Corning Gorilla Glass.

During the launch event, the company revealed for special for Indian users in coastal areas, the Redmi Note 6 Pro will be available with rust protection for charging port and audio jack.

The Redmi Note 6 Pro will be exclusively available for buying through Flipkart apart from Mi.com and Mi Home Stores. The smartphone will be made available through its very first sale at 12 PM on Flipkart through the Black Friday Sale. Later on, the Redmi Note 6 Pro will be also available for buying through Mi Preferred Stores and Mi Stores.

The 64 GB Redmi Note 6 Pro with 4 GB of RAM is priced at Rs. 13,999 (~$196). The second model has 64 GB storage and 6 GB of RAM and it costs Rs. 15,999 (~$229). The Note 6 Pro can be bought in colors like Black, Rose Gold, Blue and Red.  The box package of the phone will include 10W charger and ultra-slim case. Jio SIM users who purchase the Redmi Note 6 Pro can take advantage of Rs. 2,400 instant cash back and 6 TB of 4G data.
