During the recently held launch event of the Galaxy A9s and Galaxy A6s, Samsung had hinted that its upcoming Galaxy A8s smartphone will be coming with an impressive display design. In the previous week, a German site had shared concept renders of the upcoming Samsung Galaxy A8s smartphone. The publication has claimed that the concept model was created based on the technical specifications of the smartphone it had received from its source. Here is all the leaked information on the specs of the forthcoming Galaxy A8s phone.
The Galaxy A8s is rumored to feature Infinity-O display design which means its screen will be equipped with a hole on the upper-left comer for the selfie shooter. It is rumored to house a 6.39-inch LCD screen supplied by Chinese display maker BOE.
The Snapdragon 710 chipset could be present under the hood of the device. The SoC could be coupled with 6 GB of LPDDR4 RAM. It is tipped to arrive with an inbuilt storage of 128. The memory of the device can be expanded to up to 512 GB by adding a microSD card. It will be drawing power from a 3,400mAh battery.
The back panel of the Galaxy A8s features a triple camera unit that comprises of a 25-megapixel lens, a 5-megapixel lens and a 10-megapixel sensor. As of this writing, there is no confirmation on the type of lens, their apertures and features. It is tipped to feature 24-megapixel front-facing camera like the Galaxy A7 (2018), The front camera will be placed in a hole with a diameter of 6.7mm.
The Samsung Galaxy A8s will be measuring 159.11 x 74.88 x 7.38mm. it is likely to debut in January 2019 in blackish grey gradient color. The pricing and availability of the Galaxy A8s is still under the wraps.
