A lot of smartphone manufacturers are getting ready to announce new devices this month. Meizu will be debuting the Meizu 16th smartphone on Dec. 5. Samsung will be announcing the Galaxy A8s on Dec, ASUS will be debuting the ZenFone Max Pro M2 on Dec. 11. The Vivo NEX 2 is also speculated to launch on the same date. The OnePlus 6T McLaren Edition will be announced in China on Dec. Some of the other phones that are rumored to debut this month are Nokia 8.1 and Vivo Y81i. Today, Lenovo has confirmed that it will be holding a launch event on Dec. 6 to unleash the Lenovo Z5s.

Recent reports have revealed that the Lenovo Z5s will be equipped with in-screen camera. However, unlike the upcoming Samsung Galaxy A8s and Huawei Nova 4 that have the camera hole placed on the top-left corner, the Lenovo Z5s will have it towards the corner where the notification bar is.

The backside of the phone features a vertically arranged triple camera module. The smartphone has already received 3C and MIIT certifications in China. Only few details of the smartphone have appeared on TENAA. The handset has a model number of L78071 and it features a 6.3-inch display. It measures 156.7 x 74.5 x 7.8mm and it is packed with a 3,210mAh battery.  The other specifications of the Lenovo Z5s are still under the wraps.

In related news, Lenovo is working on another smartphone called Lenovo K5X that has a model number of L38041. The smartphone features Snapdragon 636 chipset and up to 6 GB of RAM. It will be available in 64 GB and 128 GB storage choices. It houses a 6.18-inchFull HD+ display that supports 2160 x 1080 pixels which indicates that it will be a notch-less screen that offers an aspect ratio of 18:9. It is likely to be available with up to 128 GB of storage. The handset may receive power from 3,930mAh battery. Other features of the smartphone include 16-megapixel + 5-megapixel dual camera setup and 8-megapixel frontal shooter. There is a possibility that the Chinese manufacturer may announce the Lenovo K5X alongside the Lenovo Z5s.
