Recent reports have revealed that the Vivo NEX 2 flagship phone that is scheduled to go official on Dec. 12 will be featuring 10 GB of RAM. Today, a Vivo smartphone with model number V1821A has surfaced on Geekbench. It seems to be the Vivo NEX 2 dual screen smartphone that is scheduled to go official next week.

The Vivo NEX 2 (V1821A) Geekbench listing has revealed that it will be fueled by the Snapdragon 845 which also powered the original Vivo NEX phone. The SoC will be supported by 10 GB of RAM. The smartphone is loaded with Android 9 Pie OS. In the single-core test, the handset has recorded a score of 2220 and it has scored 8467.

The specifications of the Vivo NEX 2 have surfaced in bits and pieces. The smartphone has been approved by 3C authority in China through which it has ben confirmed that it will be enabled with support for 22.5W rapid charging technology. It will be featuring a massive display of 6.5 inches on the front. The backside of the phone is said to be fitted with a 5.5-inch display. It is the second dual screen smartphone in the recent times after the Nubia X phone that was announced in October. The Vivo NEX 2 is very likely to feature an in-display fingerprint sensor.

The Lunar Ring RGB-lit for notifications is present on the rear side of the phone. The rear-facing cameras can be used for shooting better selfies. The rear screen can function as a viewfinder while shooting selfies. Hence, there is no selfie camera on the frontside of the phone. It is speculated that the third camera sensor could be a Time of Flight (ToF) 3D stereo camera for accurately mapping objects in 3D.
