As the launch of Lenovo Z5s smartphone nears, more details related to the device keeps surfacing online. In the latest development, ahead of the phone’s launch tomorrow, a promotional banner of the phone has been leaked online, which reveals key features of the phone.

The poster says that the phone is powered by Qualcomm’s upper mid-range Snapdragon 710 IAE octa-core processor. It also reveals that the device will feature a microporous drop screen offering a 92.6 percent screen-to-body ratio.

As for the color options offered by the company, the smartphone will have a gradient-colored glass body in three different colors –Coral Orange, Quite Blue, and Starry Night.

Recently, the smartphone appeared on benchmarking website Geekbench, revealing that the phone will be running Android 9 Pie operating system out-of-the-box. The company will be using its own ZenUI custom interface on top.

The device tested for the benchmark appears to have 6GB RAM and is powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 710 SoC, clocked at 1.7GHz. The phone, carrying model number L78071, managed a single-core score of 2227, and a multi-core score of 6770.

Lenovo Z5s all colors

The smartphone is expected to feature a 6.3-inch Full HD+ IPS LCD display with 2240 x 1080 pixels screen resolution. For better photography experience, the phone will feature a triple-camera setup on the back, with camera configuration of 13MP + 5MP + 2MP.

On the front side, the phone will come equipped with an 8MP snapper for taking selfies and video calling. The phone will be powered by 3,210mAh capacity non-removable battery with support for Quick Charge technology and comes with a rear-mounted fingerprint sensor.

Today, the company has also announced that there will be a Lenovo Z5s Ferrari Edition smartphone as well. This could be recently leaked Lenovo Z5s Ferrari SuperFast Edition, which reportedly packs Snapdragon 845 SoC and 12GB RAM and 128GB storage.

Lenovo seems to be trying to set a new record with this device. Currently, the highest amount of RAM on a device is 10GB and there are only a handful of such phones, with most recent being the OnePlus 6T McLaren Edition, released in collaboration with British automobile car company, McLaren.
