Just yesterday, the Nokia X5 received an update that brought Android Pie to the device. Now, HMD Global has started rolling out the update to its international variant known as the Nokia 5.1 Plus.

The update is about 1214MB in size and comes with December’s security patch. Below is the complete changelog:

  • New system navigation, settings menu, and notifications.
  • Adaptive battery power prioritization for users’ most commonly used apps/services
  • Adaptive and optimized brightness levels
  • Predictive application actions
  • Google security patch 2018-12.

The Nokia 5.1 Plus is a mid-range phone powered by an Helio P60 processor. It has a 5.84-inch HD+ display, 3GB/4GB of RAM and 32GB/64GB of expandable storage. A 13MP + 5MP dual camera combo sits on the rear and an 8MP sensor is in front for selfies. It also packs a 3060mAh battery and a rear-mounted fingerprint scanner.
