We pretty much know all there is to know about the specs and design of the Galaxy S10 series Samsung will unveil tomorrow. However, there is a lot we don’t know about Samsung’s first foldable device which will also be announced tomorrow. Ahead of the launch, the official name of the device has been revealed.

The foldable device has been called multiple names including Galaxy F, Galaxy Flex and Galaxy X. Today, Evan Blass, the established leaker revealed in a tweet the original name of the device. According to the tweet, the device will be officially known as the Samsung Galaxy Fold.

This is not the first time we have come across the name as a trademark application filing revealed last year that Samsung applied to trademark the name “Samsung Galaxy Fold”. Nevertheless, it is nice to sort of get a confirmation.

The Galaxy Fold will have two displays – the cover display and the flexible main display Samsung calls Infinity Flex. The former is 4.6-inches and is used when the device is “closed” and in phone mode, while the main display is 7.3-inches and unfolds outward when you “open” the device into a tablet mode.
