Redmi India has recently confirmed that the Redmi Note 7 phone will be unveiled on Feb. 28. The teaser poster contains a big number 7 and the company has asked its fans to guess the number of humans inside it. The smaller images inside the number also contains the features of the phone. According to GSMArena, the top portion of the number seems to be hinting on the presence of in-display fingerprint scanner on the device.

Redmi Note 7 February 28 Launch Date

The Redmi Note 7 was made official in China in the previous month. The handset does not feature an in-display fingerprint scanner. Hence, it can be said that the Redmi Note 7 Pro could be equipped with an in-screen fingerprint sensor. There is a possibility that the Redmi Note 7 Pro may get unveiled as the Redmi Note 7 in India.

The Redmi Note 7 Pro is also coming to China. However, it is expected to get announced after the Xiaomi Mi 9. The Note 7 Pro is expected to house a 6.3-inch IPS LCD display with waterdrop notch that will support full HD+ resolution. The Snapdragon 675 SoC may power the phone along with 6 GB of RAM. It may come with an internal storage of 128 GB.

Redmi Note 7 Pro featured

The backside of the phone is confirmed to feature Sony IMX586 48-megapixel primary sensor. It could be equipped with 5-megapixel depth sensor. For capturing selfies, it may feature 13-megapixel front-facing camera. Like the Note 7, the Pro edition may also come with 4,000mAh battery that will carry support for 18W fast charging. The MIUI 10 based Android 9 Pie will come preloaded on the device.
