Redmi Note 7 has been available in 3 GB RAM + 32 GB storage, 4 GB RAM + 64 GB storage and 6 GB RAM + 64 GB storage models in China. A new variant of the phone featuring 4 GB of RAM and 128 GB of storage has been silently made available for purchase on the official online store of Xiaomi in China.

The Redmi Note 7v was unveiled on Jan. 10 in China. A week after its launch, Xiaomi CEO Lei Jun had carried out a poll on Jan. 18 to find out which variant of the Redmi Note 7 is popular among the fans. Interestingly, the poll also included some unreleased variants such as 4 GB RAM + 128 GB storage and 6 GB RAM + 128 GB storage. The poll had revealed that the 6 GB RAM + 128 GB storage was most desirable model.

On the very same day, the TENNA telecom authority had certified the 4 GB RAM + 128 GB storage model for the Redmi Note 7 which indicated that Redmi may announce it soon. Finally, the new variant has been made available for purchase. As it can be seen in the below screenshot, the 4 GB + 128 GB Note 7 is now available for purchase with a price tag of 1,499 Yuan (~$223).

The new model costs 100 Yuan more than the 6 GB RAM + 64 GB storage. The other two variants such as 3 GB RAM + 32 GB storage and 4 GB RAM + 64 GB storage are respectively priced at 999 Yuan (~$149) and 1,199 Yuan (~$179).

The Redmi Note 7 features a waterdrop-style notch screen of 6.3 inches. It carries support for full HD+ resolution and 19.5:9 aspect ratio. The glass rear of the phone features a fingerprint scanner and a 48-megapixel + 5-megapixel dual camera setup. It is equipped with a 13-megapixel selfie snapper. It houses a 4,000mAh battery to keep the lights on. The handset supports 18W fast charging through USB-C.

Redmi will be debuting the Redmi Note 7 Pro and Redmi 7 smartphones in China on March 18. The Note 7 Pro comes with Sony IMX586 48-megapixel + 5-megapixel dual camera setup, Snapdragon 675, 6 GB of RAM and 128 GB of storage. The rest of its specs are same as Note 7. The Redmi 7 will be coming with 6.2-inch waterdrop-style notch display, Snapdragon 632, up to 4 GB of RAM, up to 64 GB of storage, 12-megapixel + 5-megapixel dual camera, 8-megapixel selfie camera and 4,000mAh battery. Redmi is also expected to announce some more devices alongside the Redmi Note 7 Pro and Redmi 7 phones through next week’s launch event.
