A pop-up museum exhibit has appeared at the Google Developers Conference (GDC) venue. It is teasing the new logo of Google’s “coming soon” gaming hardware. As per new revelation. a highly anticipated gaming announcement name starts with an “S”.  A Google official at the site also confirmed that the logo is related to the upcoming gaming event. It is a new tech that is yet to unveil during the keynote.

Google will announce it on the second day of the Game Developers Conference. Later, there will be hands-on time for the attendees at the event, confirms Google employee. He didn’t reveal any further details about the hardware but affirms that something is under works. This little confirmation has proved that Google is coming with gaming hardware, based on streaming technology.

Interestingly, the small video game museum at the event showcase old video games such as Pong, GameBoy, the PlayStation, Dreamcast, and Atari 2600. Some stationary items at the museum read as “Coming Soon.” A couple of backdrops reads  “Together we’ll build a playground for our imagination” and “Anything you dream can be built.”

Already, Google has been teasing it as the “vision for the future of gaming” via tweets and short videos. The search giant has been hiring new staff. Even though, former EA and Ubisoft studio head Jade Raymond joined the company as vice president despite revealing any further details about her role.

On the other hand, Google is testing Project Stream –  Netflix like cloud game streaming service. Since October last year, the project has been in the beta-testing phase.

We expect some more details to surface at Game Developer’s Conference. Google is a regular participant at GDC, but for the first time, they will head an event at the conference.
