Due to the overwhelming response, Redmi Note 7 series – Redmi Note 7 and Redmi Note 7 Pro surpassed 4 million sales in China. The device outscored its competitors in terms of sales, pricing, and specifications. After launching the Redmi Note 7 Pro in India, the company announced it in China on March 18.

Xiaomi China’s president and co-founder Wang Chuan made the announcement on March 29 via Weibo. Further, Wang thanked all Redmi fans for immensely supporting the newly launched Redmi Note 7 series. Xiaomi expects Redmi Note 7 to cross 10 million sales by the end of this month.

Xiaomi launched the Redmi Note 7 in China on January 10, 2019, featuring a 6.3-inch display with 2340 x 1080 pixels screen resolution and 19.5:9 aspect ratio. The Qualcomm Snapdragon 660 octa-core processor sits inside with 3/4/6 GB RAM and 32/64GB internal storage options. To entertain the customers with premium photography features, the device packs a 48 MP primary sensor and a 5 MP secondary sensor on the rear side. A 13-megapixel camera is present on the front side for beautiful selfies and video calling.

Meanwhile, its elder sibling aka Note 7 Pro comes with a Qualcomm’s latest Snapdragon 675 chipset, a 6.43-inch Full HD+ waterdrop notch display, 6GB RAM/128GB internal storage and a 4000 mAh battery. In the camera department, a 48-megapixel Sony IMX586 replaces Samsung’s GM1 sensor, along with a 5-megapixel secondary sensor for depth sensing along with an LED flash.

On the front side, 13 MP camera is capable of snapping beautiful selfies with AI beautify, Studio Lightning a Scene Detection mode. Redmi Note 7 Pro is available in the Neptune Blue, Nebula Red, and Classic Red.

Both the devices run on MIUI 10 based on Android 9.0 Pie operating system out of the box.
