Xiaomi’s premium fitness band – Mi Band 3 achieves 1 million unit sales milestone within six months of its launch. Affordability and premium features are the primary reasons behind this well-deserved win for the brand. Xiaomi took to Twitter to formally announce the Xiaomi Mi Band 3’s sales while faring it against the top wearable brands in India.

Although, if you are looking to buy a fitness band, then you should have a look at the features of Xiaomi Band 3. It comes with a 0.78 inch monochrome OLED display with support for swipe gestures. Accelerometer and heart-rate sensor are present for fitness tracking. The Xiaomi’s wearable device features a 110 mAh battery with an expected battery life of 20 days. It offers a Bluetooth 4.2 BLE for flawless connectivity and is water resistant upto 50 meters depth.

It can easily track heart rate, step count, calories count, estimate distance and sleep pattern. Users can use the Mi Band 3 with devices running Android 4.4+ and iOS 9.0 or latest. According to various reports, the new Xiaomi Mi Band 4 is also in works and speculated to launch very soon. It will feature Bluetooth 5.0 LE standard instead of Bluetooth 4.2 for more efficiency. This time, Xiaomi NFC version will debut outside China also.
