Huawei’s Honor first unveiled the Honor 8X in China around September last year and then it hit India in October. Since then, the giant screen phone has been on sale with Honor silently rolling out the model in other markets. Huawei has now hinted that it has sold over 10 million units of the smartphone worldwide. As a result of this milestone, the tech giant has slashed the price of the 4GB+64GB variant by 100 yuan for a limited time. This brings the price down to 1299 yuan. 
The Honor 8X is an affordable mid-range model and that is likely influential in the massive shipment which it enjoyed. The Honor 8X features a massive 6.5-inch notch display with a 91 percent screen-to-body ratio and an aspect ratio of 19.5:9. The device is powered by a Hisilicon Kirin 710 chipset paired with either 4GB and 6GB of RAM while there is 64/128GB of internal storage.

The phone comes with a 16MP f/2.0 aperture camera sitting at the front of the phone. The back panel of the handset is equipped with 20-megapixel + 2-megapixel vertical dual camera setup. Honor has packed some interesting photography features such as AI scene recognition, portrait mode, slow-motion video shooting and time-lapse photography. There is also a rear-mounted fingerprint sensor and a 3750mAh battery with fast charging support onboard.
