Xiaomi launched Mi 9 SE in February, but due to some production issues, the sales were delayed numerous times. Today Mi 9 SE appeared back in stock on Xiaomi Mall. Xiaomi took a month to resolve the production crisis for the younger sibling of Mi 9.
Interested users can now head over to the Xiaomi Mall to grab Xiaomi Mi 9 SE at the starting price of 1999 Yuan (~$298) for 6GB RAM+64GB internal storage version whereas the 6GB + 128GB internal storage variant is available for 2299 Yuan roughly translating to $342. It is available in three colour variants – Deep Space Grey, Holographic Illusion Purple, and Holographic Illusion Blue.
The Mi 9 SE carries a 5.97 inch AMOLED display having 1080 x 2280 pixels resolution. To protect from accidental falls, the device is protected by Corning Gorilla Glass 5. The device is powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 712 SoC coupled with 6GB RAM and 64/128GB internal storage. On the back, there’s tripel camera module – a 48MP primary sensor, a 13MP ultra-wide sensor, and an 8MP telephoto sensor. A single 20 MP camera is present on the front side for selfies and video calling.
Xiaomi Mi 9SE runs on Android 9.0 Pie atop MIUI V10 custom UI. It measures 70.5 x 147.5 x 7.45 mm and weighs 155 grams. Other features include a 2070 mAh battery with 18W fast charging and dual SIM support.
