Lenovo will be announcing the Lenovo Z6 Pro flagship phone tomorrow through a launch event in China. The Snapdragon 855 powered smartphone will be arriving as a successor of the Lenovo Z5 Pro GT smartphone that was unveiled in December 2018 as the world’s first phone with Snapdragon 855 SoC. Ahead of the launch event, the Chinese manufacture has shared vital information on the specs and features of the upcoming Lenovo Z6 Pro. Lenovo Z6 Pro Specifications and Features
The Lenovo Z6 Pro will come equipped with a waterdrop-style notched display of 6.39 inches. The AMOLED display is equipped with sixth-generation in-screen fingerprint reader. The official renders of the phone promise a very high screen-to-body ratio since the display is surrounded by super-slim bezels.
The Snapdragon 855 mobile platform present under the hood of the device will be supported by up to 12 GB of RAM. The highest variant of the phone will have 512 GB of native storage. Lenovo had recently shared the AnTuTu benchmarking score of the smartphone. Most flagship phones powered by SD855 have scored lower than 400k. However, the Z6 has reached an average benchmarking score of 403,077. The ZUI11 based Android 9 Pie OS will come preloaded on the device. The 4,000mAh battery of the device will carry support for fast charging technology. To control the internal temperature, the Lenovo Z6 Pro will be equipped with PC-grade liquid cooling technology.
The Hyper Video AI quad camera setup that includes a 48-megapixel sensor, a 16-megapixel sensor, an 8-megapixel lens and a 2-megapixel lens is present on the back side of the Lenovo Z6 Pro. The quad camera system is assisted by an LED flash and laser autofocus module. The smartphone will be able to capture images of up to 100 megapixels through software extrapolation.
For capturing selfies, an AI driven 32-megapixel camera will be available inside the front notch of the device. Super slow-motion video shooting, Super anti-shake, super night scene mode, super macro, 8-axis OIS, ultra wide-angle lens and ToF sensor are some of the photography features of the smartphone. The Chinese manufacturer is also expected to announce a 5G edition of the smartphone through tomorrow’s launch event. Nothing is known about the price of the Lenovo Z6 Pro. The predecessor Lenovo Z5 Pro GT was launched in China with a starting price of 2,698 Yuan (~$402). The Z6 Pro GT base model could be priced under 2,999 Yuan (~$447). It is expected to release in at least two color editions such as Black and Teal Blue.
