Vivo has recently launched the Vivo Y17 smartphone in India. Before it was announced, the smartphone was rumored to debut as Vivo Y5. Leaked information that surfaced in March had claimed that the Vivo India will soon releasing a smartphone named as Vivo Y3. Fresh information shared by 91mobiles states that the Chinese firm is gearing up to launch a new phone called Vivo Y15. Probably, it could be the same smartphone that was previously rumored to launch as Vivo Y3. It is speculated that the Vivo Y15 will arrive as a lower edition of the Vivo Y17 phone.
The Vivo Y15 specifications are currently under the wraps. However, the smartphone is expected to arrive with triple rear-mounted cameras. The Vivo Y17 carries a price tag of Rs. 17,990 (~$257) in India. It is speculated the upcoming Y15 phone will be priced between Rs. 10,000 (~$142) and Rs. 15,000 (~$214).
Vivo Y17 Specifications
The Vivo Y17 has a 6.35-inch IPS LCD display with waterdrop-style notch. It carries support for HD+ resolution of 720 x 1544 pixels and 19.3:9. The mid-range Helio P35 SoC is present under the hood of the phone. It is assisted by 4 GB of RAM. It comes with a big internal storage of 128 GB. There is a dedicated slot for microSD card on the device.

he Vivo Y17 comes preloaded with Android 9 Pie OS that is customized with FunTouch OS 9 UI. The triple camera setup of the phone includes a 13-megapixel main sensor with PDAF and f/2.2 aperture, an 8-mgeapixel ultrawide lens with f/2.2 aperture and a 2-megapixel depth sensor with f/2.4 aperture. It is fitted with a front-facing camera with f/2.0 aperture. The smartphone includes a big battery of 5,000mAh battery that supports 18W fast charging through microUSB 2.0. Mineral Blue and Mystic Purple are the two color editions of the smartphone.
