Meizu is working on Meizu 16Xs which aims to be the successor of Meizu 16X launched last year. It recently appeared on TENAA revealing all its specifications and features. According to its Weibo handle, Meizu is going to make a new announcement on May 23. Most probably it is expected to be regarding the release date of Meizu 16Xs.
In China, every year on May 20 and May 21 is regarded as the unofficial Valentine’s Day. It is termed with the named of “520” which is used to express “Love”. To celebrate such an occasion, Meizu posted a kind of “Love Letter” aka thanking note for its users and fans on Weibo. Meizu mentioned all the achievements and appreciated its users for the overwhelming response. The company revealed about a major announcement taking place on May 23 at the end of thanking note. Based on various leaks and rumors, we expect Meizu to announce the release date of Meizu 16Xs smartphone.
However, it is expected to feature a triple camera module on the rear side with a 48MP primary sensor, 8MP ultra-wide camera, and 5MP camera. The device will come powered with Qualcomm Snapdragon 712 processor coupled with 6GB RAM and 128GB internal storage.
Meizu 16Xs supports NFC and a 3.5 mm headphone jack along with other usual connectivity options. It will cost around 2000 yuan (~$289). The phone measures 152 x 74.4 x 8.35 mm and weighs 162 grams. It will come with a 4000 mAh supporting fast charging.
