Through an unveil event today in China, Lenovo took off covers from the Lenovo Z6 Youth Edition smartphone. The smartphone has arrived with an enticing starting price of 1,099 Yuan (~$159). Also, it is packed with some exciting features like tall aspect ratio screen, Snapdragon 710 SoC, triple rear cameras, big battery and support for dual-frequency GPS.
Lenovo Z6 Youth Edition Specifications and Features
The Lenovo Z6 Youth Edition features a 3D curved glass rear with ceramic appeal flanked with a magnesium alloy frame. The handset is equipped with a 6.3-inch IPS LCD panel. The waterdrop notch styled display produces full HD+ resolution of 1080 x 2340 pixels and an aspect ratio of 19.5:9. The display also carries support for HDR10. According to Lenovo, the handset offers a screen-to-body ratio of 93.07 percent.
The Snapdragon 710 mobile platform is present under the hood of the Lenovo Z6 Youth Edition. The SoC is supported by up to 6 GB of RAM. The highest configuration variant of the phone features 128 GB of native storage. It houses a 4,050mAh battery that carries support for 15W rapid charging through USB-C. Despite featuring a big battery, the smartphone has a thickness of only 7.88mm.
The Lenovo Z6 Youth Edition has a triple camera setup with an LED flash. It includes a 16-megapixel primary sensor with f/1.8 aperture, an ultrawide lens of 8-megapixel with f/2.4 aperture and a depth sensor of 5-megapixel and f/2.2 aperture. The photography features available on the handset include handheld super night scene mode, multi-frame noise reduction, AI portrait mode, AI scene identification and more. For shooting selfies, it has a frontal camera of 16-megapixel with f/2.0 aperture.
The Android 9 Pie OS with ZUI 11 user interface is available on the Lenovo Z6 Youth Edition. It is equipped with support for Dolby panoramic sound and 4D tuning system. For accurate location tracking, the smartphone comes with dual-frequency GPS technology. The other features of the smartphone include rear-mounted fingerprint scanner, AI face unlock, microSD card slot, dual-SIM support, 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11ac, Bluetooth 5.0, GPS, USB-C and 3.5mm audio jack.
