The Redmi K20 and Redmi K20 Pro smartphones are scheduled to go official on May 28. Redmi has already revealed that the Redmi K20 will be sporting a notch-less display. Earlier today, the Chinese firm confirmed that it will be featuring a AMOLED screen that will be integrated with a 7th generation in-display fingerprint reader. Hands-on images of the purported Redmi K20 smartphone have been leaked to reveal its front design.

The new images of the alleged Redmi K20 show that it will be arriving with a large notch-less screen surrounded by thin bezels. The thickness of the chin of the device appears similar to its top bezel. The right side of the smartphone seems to be equipped with a volume rocker and below it is a power key. A dedicated key for accessing the Xiao AI assistant seems to be present on the left side of the phone. Unfortunately, there are no images showing the rear design of the phone.

Previous reports have revealed that the Redmi K20 will be featuring a 6.39-inch AMOLED display that will carry support for full HD+ resolution. The smartphone is expected to arrive with a 20-megapixel motorized pop-up selfie snapper. The Redmi K20’s rear camera setup will include Sony IMX586 48-megapixel primary sensor with f/1.8 aperture. The handset will also carry support for 960fps slow-motion video shooting.

The Redmi K20 and K20 Pro have reportedly received approvals from 3C authority of China. It appears that the Redmi K20 may arrive with 18W rapid charging support, whereas the Pro edition may offer 27W fast charging. It is speculated that Redmi K20 could be fueled by Snapdragon 730 mobile platform and it may release in markets outside of China as Xiaomi Mi 9T.v The Redmi K20 Pro could be driven by the Snapdragon 855 mobile platform. Probably, the K20 Pro will release in markets outside of China as Poco F2.

The Redmi K20 duo are expected to arrive with up to 8 GB of RAM and an inbuilt storage of 128 GB. There is no information on the price tags of these smartphones. They are expected to release in color variants like Carbon Fiber, Blue and Red.
