Vivo has announced price cuts for the Vivo V15 and Vivo Y17 in India. The slash will see the models now sell at Rs 2000 (~$28) less than their original prices. The V15 was launched in India in March this year with a starting price of Rs 23,990 (~$345). That price was soon reduced not long after the launch. Thus, this is the second price cut it is getting and it seems it is a permanent cut.

On its part, Vivo Y17 was launched barely a month ago and was initially sold for Rs 17,990. With this price slash, the Y17 is now selling for Rs 15,990 ($230). Both models are presently available at the reduced pricing via major brick and mortar stores in India. Apparently, the prices are yet to be updated to reflect the prevailing price cut on the online channels.

As a reminder of their specs, the V15 packs a full-screen, notch-less design that sees it adopt a pop-up selfie camera design. The device has a 6.53-inch full-HD+ display and is powered by the Helio P70 processor paired with 6GB of RAM and there is 64GB of storage onboard. A triple 12MP + 8MP + 5MP camera setup adorns the rear panel while for selfies that is a big 32MP sensor. On the other hand, the Y17 utilizes a waterdrop notch design on a 6.35-inch HD+ display/ It is powered by the Helio P35 SoC, paired with 4GB of RAM and 128GB of storage. There is also a triple rear camera setup comprising of 13MP, 8MP, and 2MP cameras. On the front, there’s a 20MP snapper for selfies. Keeping the lights on is a mammoth 5000mAh battery with support for 18W Dual-Engine fast charging. Both phones are equipped with a fingerprint sensor.
