ZTE‘s Axon 10 Pro was already a fairly formidable device, but it seems it’s only going to get better. According to ZTE, the upcoming software will not only bring bug fixes, but also 20X Hybrid Zoom functionality. It’s a surprising bit of news, and it’s impressive that ZTE’s already pushing out hefty improvements.

The ZTE Axon 10 Pro has a 48MP f/1.7 primary camera, a 20MP f/2.2 ultra-wide angle lens with a 125° FOV, and an 8MP f/2.4 telephoto lens in a triple camera arrangement. Before this, the device already came with 3x optical zoom, 5X hybrid zoom, and 10x digital zoom. Now, those numbers get boosted further for even more impressive camera performance.

The ZTE flagship has an in-display fingerprint scanner that unlocks in just 0.27s and support for Face ID too. It has stereo speakers (Dual Super Linear speakers), Dual SmartPA, and DTS:X Ultra. The 5G version has one SIM slot and MicroSD card slot while the 4G version has a hybrid dual SIM slot. Both have NFC capabilities and Bluetooth 5.0.

We’re looking forward to seeing the Axon 10 Pro get more features in the future. We already know the device will arrive in European markets soon. The Axon 10 Pro is a solid flagship on paper, though we aren’t sure how much of an impact it’ll have on the market. It’s still one of the only phones currently on the market with 5G support, so it has that.
