You will recall that the  Samsung Galaxy Fold was already scheduled for release in April before a chain of events started happening which eventually led to the postponement of the Fold’s release. The Korean tech giant is yet to officially confirm when the Galaxy Fold will be released but there have been rumours it could drop in July. A Samsung executive has disclosed that the Galaxy Fold is “ready to hit the market.”Samsung Galaxy Fold Display Issue

The vice president of Samsung Display, Kim Seong-cheol disclosed during his speech at The Korean Information Display Society that “Most of the display problems have been ironed out, and the Galaxy Fold is ready to hit the market.” As you know, Samsung Display is responsible for the development and production of the flexible display panels used on the foldable phone. The exec also hinted that he has high expectations for the device and expects it to receive a lot of attention in the market when released.

Sadly, he didn’t reveal any date for the release but we believe earlier rumours of a July release may just be correct. However, the Galaxy Fold will likely get different release dates for different regions. We expect the company to come out with a clear roadmap soon.
