Chinese tech giant Huawei has launched the Honor 8s smartphone in the United Kingdom. The Honor 8s is an entry-level device and that is reflected in its pricing. The device is available in the UK for £99.99 via Amazon. The phone is not locked to any network and is SIM-free.

The Honor 8s was first launched in Russia in April. The smartphone packs a 5.71-inch LCD touchscreen display with an HD+ resolution of 720×1520 pixels and water drop notch.  At the heart of the phone is a MediaTek Helio A22 SoC paired with 2GB of RAM. The phone comes with 32GB of expandable storage. On the camera aspect, there is a 13 MP main camera with f/1.8 aperture and for selfies, the 8s packs a 5 MP snapper housed inside the water drop notch. Keeping the lights on is a 3,020 mAh battery. It runs Android 9 Pie with EMUI 9 lite on top. The model on offer is the Blue variant only but the phone also comes in Black and Gold colours.Honor 8S

Honor UK has also slashed the prices of a slew of its mid-range smartphones ahead of the imminent Honor 20 launch.The Honor 10, 10 Lite, and View 20 have all got significant cuts in their prices. The Honor 10 is on offer at £150 off, at just £249. The Honor 10 Lite got a £30 discount and is now available for £169.95, down from £199. Finally, the Honor View 20 has got a massive £130 price cut. As a result, the 6GB+128GB version is on offer for £369.99 while the 8GB+256GB version goes for £449.99.
