The Meizu 16s is a unique device in a world of notches, pop-up cameras, and punch hole displays. It keeps the bezels but manages to keep them really slim while still fitting in a camera and an earpiece. Unlike its predecessor, the Meizu 16s doesn’t have a Plus variant. However, new reports have revealed we may be getting a Meizu 16s Pro as early as next month.

Listings of the Meizu 16s Pro are said to have been seen on Taobao, one of China’s biggest online stores. The listing even includes a photo of the unreleased device.

Meizu 16s Pro

The Meizu 16s Pro will mostly keep the design of the Meizu 16s but it will add an extra camera on the back for a triple camera setup. We speculate the third camera may be an ultra-wide angle lens. The cameras are lined up vertically on the left side of the phone with the ring-style LED flash sitting below.

There is no fingerprint scanner on the rear which means Meizu is sticking to an in-display fingerprint sensor again. Unfortunately, the specs were not listed save for the processor which is the Snapdragon 855.

The listing says pre-order began on July 3 ahead of the device’s release in August. More details are expected to surface in the coming weeks leading to its release if the device’s existence is confirmed.
