Rugged phones are Blackview’s specialty and they are pretty good at it. But as the market is becoming more and more competitive, the Chinese manufacturer decided to expand the BV series with the largest display rugged phone to date, Blackview BV6100 that comes with a 6.88″ screen.
The BV6100 was originally announced during the shown at the MWC 2019 conference together with the BV9700 Pro flagship and the photos that have surfaced confirm previous leaks and renderings. The phone sports a slim frame and rounded corners while the killer feature remains the big display. That big of a display is rather convenient while browsing the web, playing games or watching videos so many users will be happy with it.
Apart from the large display, rumors say that it should come with a monster battery as well and it is safe to assume that these rumors are safe since Blackview always equips its devices with bigger than the competition batteries. The nitch feature of the display is the fact that the notch isn’t placed in the top middle but on the upper right corner instead and it is what the company calls the “Cape of Good Hope”.
