When the Redmi 7A first launched in China, it was only available in Matte Black and Morning Blue. However, when it was announced in India, it got two new colors – Matte Blue and Matte Gold. Today, it was announced that the gold variant will also be available in China but as “Foggy Gold”.
The announcement was made on the official Weibo account. The attached poster says the Matte Gold variant will be available for purchase tomorrow, July 17. It will also keep the ¥549 (~$80) price tag.
We checked the official Mi online store to confirm if the new color variant will be available for the other configurations too and they are. The 2+32GB version will sell for ¥579 (~$84) while the 3+32GB version will sell for ¥799 (~$116).

There is a 4000mAh battery with support for 10W charging. It doesn’t have a fingerprint scanner but there is Face Unlock. It also has a dedicated MicroSD card slot, a MicroUSB port, and an audio jack.
