Lenovo Tab V7 with Rs. 12,990 (~$189) price launched in India

Lenovo Tab V7 is the latest Lenovo tablet to go official in India. The tablet was first announced in February this year during the Mobile World Congress (MWC) 2019 tech exhibition in Barcelona, Spain. At that time, the company had claimed that it will be made available in Europe in April and it will be also in American, African and Asian markets in the near future. Now, the tablet has been introduced in India with a price tag of Rs. 12,990 (~$189).

Lenovo Tab V7 Specifications and Features

The Lenovo Tab V7 comes with a 6.9-inch IPS LCD display that offers full HD+ resolution of 1080 x 2160 and 18:9 aspect ratio. With symmetrical bezels at the top and bottom, the tablet offers 81 percent screen space. The modest Snapdragon 450 mobile platform with up to 4 GB of RAM drives the tablet. The maximum storage offered by the slate is 64 GB. For more storage, there is a microSD card slot on the device.

The rear side of the Lenovo Tab V7 is fitted with a 13-megapixel camera. It sports a 5-megapixel snapper on the front. The tablet offers photography features like Night Shot, Panorama and HDR. The tablet is loaded with Android 9 Pie OS.

The back panel of the Tab V7 also features a fingerprint scanner. It comes with dual-SIM support and it houses a big battery of 5,180mAh capacity. It lacks support for rapid charging. There are two front-firing speakers powered with Dolby Audio on the Tab V7. The other features of the tablet include 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11ac, Bluetooth 4.2, GPS, USB-C and 3.5mm audio jack. The Chinese firm has said that India will be also receiving a special edition of the Tab V7 that comes with iris scanner. It will be aimed towards government and enterprises.

Lenovo Tab V7 Price

The Lenovo Tab V7 has landed in India in two models such as 3 GB RAM + 32 Gb storage and 4 GB RAM + 64 GB storage. They are respectively priced at Rs. 12,990 (~$189) and Rs. 14,990 (~$216). Starting from Aug. 1, the Tab V7 will be made available for purchase through Flipkart. Other online and offline platforms will be also selling the Lenovo tablet later on. There is no word on the pricing and availability of the iris scanner enabled edition of the tablet for the country.
