True wireless headphones are the new trend in the market. Xiaomi released the Mi AirDots late last year but Redmi decided to offer an even cheaper option for customers with its Redmi AirDots. The TWS earbuds were launched alongside the Redmi Note 7 duo earlier this year and it looks like its popularity hasn’t dwindled. In fact, Redmi has just announced that the Redmi AirDots crossed 1 million sales in a month recently.

Redmi’s earbuds went on sale on April 9. So it’s been available for around three months. But the super-cheap TWS earbuds seem to be gaining popularity recently hitting the new milestone of 1 million sales. It makes sense why the AirDots are so popular, after all, it offers a decent sound experience at just 99 Yuan (~$15). It’s even cheaper than Xiaomi’s AirDots which retailed at 199 Yuan (~$30).
