Weeks after announcing a new white variant for the Redmi Note 7 series in China, Xiaomi has now made it available for India. The new color variant is called Astro White and will be available for the Redmi Note 7S and Redmi Note 7 Pro.
The new Astro White variant will be available for pre-order tomorrow midnight on Mi.com and on Flipkart. The price should be the same as that of other variants and it should be available for all configurations.
With the new Astro White variant, both phones are now available in four colors. The other three are Neptune Blue, Space Black and Nebula Red for the Redmi Note 7 Pro and Ruby Red, Onyx Black, and Sapphire Blue for the Redmi Note 7S.
The Astro White variant is heading to Europe to according to this tweet from Sudhanshu Ambhore. It most likely will go by the same name for the Redmi Note 7.

Redmi‘s General Manager, Lu Weibing, has already confirmed that the Redmi Note 8 is in development but it likely won’t be available for a few more months. A new color variant is usually a way for manufacturers to renew interest and get people talking about a device and so far, it has always worked.
