In May, OnePlus had announced the OnePlus 7 series of smartphones in multiple markets. It included devices like OnePlus 7, OnePlus 7 Pro and OnePlus 7 Pro 5G. The 5G variant was introduced only in the UK and it was made available through UK telco EE. Now that China has become a 5G ready market, 5G enabled devices like ZTE Axon 10 Pro 5G and Huawei Mate 20 X 5G have been made official in the country. OnePlus too will be launching the OnePlus 7 Pro 5G smartphone in the country. Recently, it was spotted on the database of China’s 3C authority and now a TENAA listing of the phone has also appeared.
As it can be seen in the below images, the OnePlus 7 Pro 5G that has a model number of GM1925 looks identical to its 4G LTE edition. The Nebula Blue colored rear of the phone features a ‘OnePlus 5G’ logo towards the bottom. The TENAA listing of the phone is yet to updated with its full specifications. The 3C certification of the phone had revealed that it could be arriving with support for 30W charging.
Now that the OnePlus 7 Pro 5G has surfaced on 3C and TENAA, its China launch seems to be close at hand. Probably, it will debut later this month or in the coming month in the home market. In related news, OnePlus 7 Pro 5G will be soon debuting in the U.S. It will be exclusively available through Sprint cellular operator.
OnePlus 7 Pro 5G Specifications
The OnePlus 7 Pro 5G features a 6.67-inch Fluid AMOLED display with curved edges. The notch-less display supports quad HD+ resolution of 1440 x 3120 pixels, 19.5:9 aspect ratio and 90Hz refresh rate. It is equipped with an in-display fingerprint scanner. The OxygenOS 9.5.5 based Android 9 Pie OS runs on the device.
It is fueled by Snapdragon 855 chipset and it comes with up to 8 GB of RAM. For storage, it offers users with an internal space of up to 256 GB. The handset lacks support for microSD card slot.
The OnePlus 7 Pro 5G has a triple camera setup on its rear. It includes a Sony IMX586 48-megapixel primary lens with f/1.8 aperture and OIS, a telephoto lens of 8-megapixel with OIS and 3x optical zoom and a 16-megapixel ultrawide lens. It is equipped with a pop-up selfie camera of 16-megapixel with f/2.0 aperture. The handset houses a 4,000mAh battery and it lacks a 3.5mm audio jack.
