BBK subsidiary Vivo has confirmed the iQOO Pro 5G will feature a 4500mAh battery. A teaser poster released earlier today contained the detail about the battery size. This is a slight bump above the iQOO which had a 4000mAh battery. No doubt, it is as a result of the 5G modem the Pro 5G will have onboard. It will definitely have a slight impact on the weight and size of the flagship.
The iQOO Pro 5G is expected to launch on August 22 packing a Snapdragon 855+ SoC and to also be Vivo’s first model with 5G connectivity. Vivo hasn’t revealed much about the 5G phone other than showing off the back of the phone, but the iQOO Pro 5G other than showing off the back of the phone, but the device has already appeared on China’s TENAA, giving us a generous hint about its internals.
TENAA shows the iQOO Pro 5G will sport a 6.41-inch FHD+ Super AMOLED display with an on-screen fingerprint scanner. The smartphone will come with 8GB and 12GB RAM. there will also be three storage options to choose from – 128GB, 256GB, and 512GB. In terms of photography, the Vivo iQOO Pro 5G will adopt a 12MP selfie shooter for selfies upfront. While at the rear aspect, there will be a triple camera setup comprising of 48MP+ 3MP+12MP sensors.
