Last year, Realme had launched its first wired earphones named Realme Buds, costing ₹499. Now, the company is all set to launch its successor. As per the reports, the Realme Buds 2.0 are expected to go official along with the Realme 5 series smartphones in India.

The Realme Buds launched last year comes with in-ear design with magnets, 3.5mm headphone jack, and 11mm audio drivers for powerful bass. The Realme Buds 2.0 earphones are said to be an upgraded version with better audio quality and design. To know what has changed, we’ll have to wait for a few more hours for the launch event.

The Realme 5 and Realme 5 Pro smartphones will be launching in India today, which will be featuring quad-camera setup on the back. The phone is tipped to come powered by massive 5,000mAh battery with VooC 3.0 flash charging support that is claimed to provide 55 percent of juice in just 30 minutes.

Reports indicate that the ‘Pro’ model of the Realme 5 could either be driven by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 710 or Snapdragon 712 chipset, paired with up to 8GB of RAM. it is likely to feature an AMOLED display, in-display fingerprint scanner, and a Sony IMX586 sensor of 48-megapixel resolution as a primary camera.

On the other hand, the regular Realme 5 is expected to come powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 600-series chipset, feature HD+ display, and a waterdrop-style notch. Software-wise, both Realme 5 and Realme 5 Pro are expected to have Android 9 Pie-based ColorOS running out of the box.
