The Samsung Galaxy Tab S6 is the most powerful Android tablet you can buy right now. It comes with a bunch of features including dual rear cameras and an in-display fingerprint scanner. The latter is actually a first for any tablet but that is not the only first, the Galaxy Tab S6 boasts.
Promotional materials by Samsung China says the Tab S6 is also the first tablet to support HDR10+. HDR10+ is actually a format created by Samsung to take on Dolby vision.

It is an improvement over HDR10 which uses static metadata. What this means is that the range of brightness for video content (film or TV show) is already set at the beginning, so it doesn’t change. However, for HDR10+ which uses dynamic metadata just like Dolby Vision, the brightness range can be adjusted frame by frame. The advantage this brings is more details, better brightness, better color accuracy, and better contrast.
So if you are streaming HDR10+ content from the Galaxy Tab S6 such as the upcoming second season of Jack Ryan, it should look much better than when you watch it on a device that only supports HDR10.
The Galaxy Tab S6 has a 10.5-inch 2560 x 1600 display, a Snapdragon 855 processor, 6GB of RAM and 128GB of storage. There is also an 8GB RAM + 256GB version. The tablet has a 13MP primary rear camera and a 5MP ultrawide angle camera. The front-facing camera is an 8MP sensor. There are four AKG-tuned speakers so you get impressive audio quality alongside your already super clear film or TV show.
The Galaxy Tab S6 is not only an entertainment device but also a work device. There is the famous S Pen which now boasts new features. You also have Samsung DeX for a desktop-like environment and you can purchase the BookCover Keyboard to transform it into a 2-in-1. Other features include Android 9 Pie, Bixby Assistant, MicroSD card slot, Face Unlock, and a 7040mAh battery. The Galaxy Tab S6 starts at $649.
