The Vivo Z1X is an upcoming Z-series smartphone from Vivo India after the Vivo Z1 Pro that was made official in July. A recent leak had claimed that the phone may go official as early as first week of September. Now, the Chinese manufacturer has confirmed the existence of the phone by revealing that it will be exclusively available for purchase through Flipkart.
According to Vivo India, the Vivo Z1X is aimed towards those customers who prefer performance oriented phone for playing high-end games. Like the Vivo Z1 Pro, the Vivo Z1X being a Z-series will be aimed towards the online market. The company did not share details on the specifications of the Vivo Z1X. It is expected to arrive as an enhanced version of the Vivo Z1 Pro.
Vivo Z1X Specifications (Rumored)
In July, Vivo had launched the Vivo Z5 smartphone in China. It is speculated that the Vivo Z1X for India could be rebranded version of the Vivo Z5. So far, the rumor mill has revealed that the Vivo Z1X will be featuring a 48-megapixel triple camera system on its rear. The main sensor could be Samsung’s ISOCELL Bright GM1 lens. Its secondary sensor could be an 8-megapixel ultrawide lens with f/2.2 aperture and a 2-megapixel depth sensor. The handset is also expected to house an AMOLED display with an in-screen fingerprint reader. Also, the smartphone is expected to feature a USB-C port to support fast charging.
The Vivo Z1X is expected to carry a higher price tag than the Vivo Z1 Pro that retails at Rs. 18,990 for its top model that features 6 GB of RAM and 128 GB of storage. The Vivo Z1X could be priced around Rs. 20,000.
Vivo India has cited Q2 Gfk report to state it has acquired a market share of 21.2 percent in India. The company will be completing five years of operations this year in the country. The Chinese firm has claimed that it will continue to aggressively to target the Indian market by selling more value for money products.

The Vivo Z5 features a 6.38-inch S-AMOLED display with waterdrop notch. The Snapdragon 712 powers the smartphone along with 4,500mAh battery. It comes with up to 8 GB of RAM and up to 256 GB of native storage. For photography, the Vivo Z5 is equipped with 48-meapixel + 8-megapixel + 5-megapixel triple camera setup and a front-facing camera of 32-megapixel. It carries support for in-screen fingerprint reader and 22.5W fast charging.
