We are eagerly awaiting Vivo’s upcoming NEX 3 5G to arrive. It’s got a slew of interesting features like the waterfall screen with extremely curved edges. It’s got some incredible looking specs between the Qualcomm Snapdragon 855 Plus octa-core processor and triple-camera setup. Now we’ve got a teaser that finally reveals a launch date of September 16.
This essentially means that the Vivo NEX 3 5G is just around the corner. We always knew the launch was this month, but we didn’t expect it to be in the middle of the month. We expected to see it sometime near the end. With this, we know a lot about the upcoming device, especially with the leaked specs that popped up on Weibo earlier today.

For the uninformed, the smartphone will come equipped with either 8GB and 12GB of RAM and three options for internal storage — 128GB, 256GB, and 512GB. Another big selling point is that Vivo has decided to retain the 3.5mm headphone jack (sad times) and the phone will be powered by a 4,500mAh battery along with 44W fast charging support.
The phone will have an impressively big 6.89” AMOLED panel with extremely curved edges, as you can see in the photos. The device is 167.4 x 76.1 x 9.4 mm in size and weighs 218 grams. There is only one color listed – Gold, although we can probably expect to see more colour options later down the line, as well as some gradients since they’re in vogue.
