Xiaomi isn’t just making value-for-money smartphones with a significantly cheaper price tag but is also following the same strategy for the mobile accessories as well. With true wireless headphones become more popular, the company released Xiaomi AirDots late last year but Redmi comes with an even cheaper option for customers with its Redmi AirDots.

The Redmi AirDots were launched along with the Redmi Note 7 series smartphones in China earlier this year and its popularity hasn’t dwindled. The company had recently announced that the Redmi AirDots crossed 1 million sales within a month.

Now, the company has announced that the Redmi AirDots has crossed 3 million sales since its launch, which shows how popular the product is. The company has also said that the demand for this true wireless earphones keeps on growing.

It makes sense why the AirDots are so popular, after all, it offers a decent sound experience at just 99 Yuan, which roughly converts to $15. On the other hand, the Xiaomi AirDots are priced at 199 Yuan, almost doubling the cost to around $30.

It features a built-in Realtek 8763 chip and Bluetooth 5.0 with DSP digital noise reduction. The headset also packs a durable battery that can last up to 4 hours of continuous music playback when the pair is used. With the charging case, you get a total of 12 hours of playback. The headset comes as a pair and each weighs just 4.1 grams.
