This isn’t the first time the company is launching a smart tab that is different from its Android tablets. The company earlier launched the Smart Tab P10 and Smart Tab M10 both packing 10-inch displays and integrating Alexa smart assistant at the beginning of the year. The tabs seem to have performed well in the market hence these two new models powered by Google Assistant.

The Lenovo Smart Tab M8 is basically trimmed down version of the Smart Tab M10 but instead of Alexa smart assistant, it comes with Google Assistant. The Smart Tab M8 comes with a MediaTek A22 SoC, dual stereo speakers and an HD screen. The tablet comes with a Smart Charging Station automatically enabling hands-free Google Assistant capabilities. The M8 comes with a €149 price tag and will hit the market in October.

On its part, the Lenovo Yoga Smart Tab has a more outstanding product, adopting a design language and features from the popular Yoga laptop line but it lacks the detachable or flippable keyboard. The device packs a 10-inch Full HD display and has a built-in “signature multi-modal” kickstand. The kickstand enables the device to be used in four modes; standing, sitting, reclining, or lying down while watching a movie on the display. It is powered by an octa-core Snapdragon 439 processor. The tablet also comes with a built-in dual JBL Hi-Fi speakers.Lenovo Yoga Smart Tab

The Lenovo Yoga Smart Tab also supports Google Assistant’s Ambient Mode, which means it can answer your questions and take various voice commands after you press a release button on the kickstand to activate this feature.

The Yoga Smart Tab is priced at €299  and will rollout in Europe later this month.Lenovo Smart Display 7

Lenovo also unveiled the Lenovo Smart Display 7 which presents with a 7-inch SD touchscreen display. The new version joins the 8-inch and 10-inch version that are already in the market. The design is updated, thoug, as the tab packs thinner bezels as well as front-facing left and right speakers for stereo separation. It comes with a price tag of €129.
