Recent reports have claimed that Vivo India may launch the Vivo V17 Pro in the country in the third week of September. A fresh report from 91mobiles has an image of the press invite for the India launch of V17 Pro handset. It reveals that the smartphone will be made official in the country on Sept. 20.

The Vivo V17 Pro will be arriving as world’s first phone with dual pop-up selfie cameras. The wider pop-up module is expected to feature a 32-megapixel primary lens and a depth sensor of 2-megapixel. The rear shell of the phone has a quad camera system. It comprises of a 48-megapixel main lens, an ultrawide lens of 8-megapixel and a pair of 2-megapixel lenses.

The Vivo V17 Pro smartphone flaunts a 6.59-inch S-AMOLED display that support full HD+ resolution of 1080 x 2440 pixels. The display of the V17 Pro is embedded with an in-screen fingerprint reader. The Snapdragon 675 mobile platform is present under the hood of the device. The handset will come with 8 GB of RAM. The handset will be equipped with a native storage of 128 GB. The Android 9 Pie OS based FunTouch OS 9 UI is loaded on the device. It will be backed by a 4,100mAh battery.

In related news, the NBTC certification of Vivo 1910 phone in Thailand has revealed that this model number belong to the upcoming Vivo V17 Pro. Last month, the Vivo 1910 phone was spotted on Geekbench through which it was revealed it features Snapdragon 675 chipset, 6 GB of RAM and Android 9 Pie OS. Hence, there is a possibility that the company may release a 6 GB RAM version of the V17 Pro.

The rumor mill is yet to leak information on the pricing of the Vivo V17 Pro. The Snapdragon 675 SoC powered Vivo V15 Pro was introduced in February with a price tag of Rs. 28,990 in India. Hence, there is a possibility that the V17 Pro could be priced around Rs. 30,000. The smartphone is also expected to debut in markets like Indonesia and Europe in the near future.
