The launch of Huawei’s next-generation Mate series flagship smartphone is just days away and ahead of the launch, Evan Blass has shared the render images of the Huawei Mate 30 Pro and the Huawei Mate 30 RS Porsche Design.

While the Mate 30 Pro smartphone was confirmed through numerous leaked in the past couple of months, nothing was known about the Porsche Edition. However, a recent teaser from the company confirmed that the Mate 30 RS Porsche Design will be launched along with the Mate 30 series and now its renders have also surfaced online.

The leaked renders show both the smartphones having a waterfall screen that has its edges curved from the sides, similar to what we’ve seen on Samsung‘s smartphones. Further, the render shows Mate 30 Pro having a wide rectangular notch on top of the display for housing the front-facing snapper.

On the back side, the smartphone features a circular camera module in the top-middle position, which is being referred as “Oreo” design. There are four camera sensors on the circular housing while the LED flash is placed in the top-left corner, outside the housing for camera sensors.

On the other hand, the Mate 30 RS Porsche Design also packs quad-camera setup on the back but instead of circular housing, they are packed inside a black-colored narrow strip that runs from the top towards the bottom. In this one also, the LED flash is placed in the top-left corner, outside the camera housing.

It seems that the Mate 30 RS Porsche Design variant will come in two color options — Black and Red. As for the specifications, just like the Mate 30 Pro, we expect the Porsche Design edition to come powered by the company’s own Kirin 990 SoC and an AMOLED display with 90Hz refresh rate display.

As per the rumors, the Huawei Mate 30 Pro will come powered by a 4,500mAh battery with 40W fast charging support and 27W SuperWireless charging support. It is also expected to come packed with 8GB/12GB RAM along with 512GB onboard storage.

The device is also expected to come with IP68 ratings for water and dust resistance. Both the smartphones are expected to come powered by EMUI 10 custom user interface based on the latest Android 10 operating system.

Similar to its predecessors, the Mate 30 RS Porsche Design looks premium and thus, it will carry a hefty price tag. The Huawei Mate 20 RS Porsche Design was priced at 12,999 Yuan, which roughly converts to $1,838 and we expect similar pricing with the upcoming smartphone as well. To know for sure, we’ll have to wait for the official launch event scheduled on 19th September in Munich, Germany.
