OPPO had held a launch event on Sept. 10 in China to announce the Reno2 smartphone. At the event, the Chinese firm confirmed that its next flagship is called OPPO Reno Ace and it will be made official in China in October. Today, the company has released a Weibo post to reveal that it will be announcing the Reno Ace phone on Oct. 10.

OPPO Reno Ace October 10 Launch Date

The launch poster of the OPPO Reno Ace states that it is equipped with 64W SuperVOOC Flash Charging technology. Last week, OPPO Vice President Brian Shen had said that the company will begin the mass production of its 65W fast charging technology in the next month.

Apart from the blazing fast charging technology, the OPPO Reno Ace is also expected to house a display that offers a refresh rate of 90Hz. The Snapdragon 855+ mobile platform is likely to fuel the Reno Ace. The other details on the specs of the phone are currently under the wraps.

In July, Shen had teased a phone with extremely curved edges. It is speculated that the very same phone could be debuting as Reno Ace. An upcoming 5G phone with model number PCKM70 was spotted on TENAA earlier this month. The rear design of the phone is quite similar to the Reno2 phone. In fact, it appears like the Snapdragon 855+ edition of the Reno2 with 5G support. It remains to be seen whether the same phone will be made official as Reno Ace.
