Earlier this year, OnePlus had launched the OnePlus 7 and OnePlus 7 Pro smartphones. While most markets like Europe, India and China received both phones, the company only released the OnePlus 7 Pro in the U.S. According to a reliable tipster, the U.S. won’t be receiving selected models from the OnePlus 7T series.
The tipster has revealed that the U.S. won’t receive the OnePlus 7T Pro phone. He has added that the country will be receiving OnePlus 7T and OnePlus 7T Pro 5G McLaren Edition. The latter is expected to b exclusively available through Verizon. The detailed specs of the McLaren Edition haven’t appeared yet. However, it expected to arrive with a premium body and support for 5G connectivity.
The OnePlus 7T series is expected to go official on Oct. 10 in the U.S. The pre-orders of the phone are expected to begin on the same followed by the market release on Oct. 15. There is no confirmation on the OnePlus 7T and OnePlus 7T Pro 5G McLaren Edition for the U.S.
Recent reports have revealed that the OnePlus 7T will have a 6.55-inch Fluid AMOLED display with 1080 x 2400 pixels resolution with waterdrop notch. It will be fueled by Snapdragon 855+ mobile platform and 8 GB of RAM. It may debut in 128 GB and 256 GB models. It will feature a triple camera system with a 48-megapixel primary lens, a 12-megapixel telephoto lens and a 16-megapixel ultrawide lens. It may house a 3,800mAh battery with Warp Charge 30T.
The OnePlus 7T Pro will have a 6.65-inch Fluid AMOLED display with notch-less design. The Snapdragon 855+ will be powering the smartphone and it will be housing a large battery of 4,085mAh with Warp Charge 30T support. Its triple camera system will include a 48-megapixel primary lens, an 8-megapixel telephoto lens and a 16-megapixel ultrawide lens.
Both phones will be loaded with OxygenOS based Android 10 and they will be equipped with in-display fingerpint reader. Both smartphones will come with support for 90Hz refresh rate and they will possess a 16-megapixel camera on the front for capturing selfies. The McLaren Edition with 5G support may sport a carbon fiber body. It could be packed with highest configuration specs of the OnePlus 7T Pro.
