Lenovo has launched a new smartwatch in the Indian market — Lenovo Carme (HW25P), carrying a price tag of ₹3,499 (approx. $49). The wearable device is now available for purchase in the country in two colors — Black and Green from Flipkart and Croma Stores.
The Lenovo Carme smartwatch comes with a sleek design and is mainly aimed towards the fitness enthusiasts. It features a 1.3-inch IPS colour display and also comes with a one-touch sensor that will enable users to control the watch. There’s also 2.5D curved surface design to resist blind angles and enables users use screen even under the bright daylight.
It comes with support for several health and fitness features like pedometer, 24 hours heart rate monitor, sleep monitor, among others. There’s also support for 8 sports mode that includes activities like skipping, badminton, basketball, football, swimming, walking, running and cycling.
The device also has features like weather forecast, search for the phone, alarm reminder, stopwatch and smart notifications for emails, text messages, calls and other social media apps. It is equipped with Bluetooth 4.2 and is also compatible with both Android as well as iOS devices. The device is rated IP68, ensuring that it’s waterproof dust-proof.
As for the battery life, the company is claiming that the 200mAh battery of the device offers up to 7 days of battery life on a single charge. Notably, the Lenovo Carme smartwatch is being imported and distributed in India by PR Innovations.
