Rollme launches Hero K1 rugged smartwatch with offline GPS maps, LED flashlight & 40-day battery

Rollme has released its newest smartwatch, the Hero K1. It is an outdoor-focused wearable that prioritizes battery capacity and standalone navigation features over a sleek form factor.

Rollme Hero K1 Specifications

The Hero K1 packs a large 1,200mAh battery, considerably bigger than the 300mAh to 500mAh cells commonly found in mainstream smartwatches. According to Rollme, the watch can deliver up to 40 days of battery life with typical use and up to 25 days with heavy use. However, actual battery performance may vary depending on usage patterns, including GPS tracking, continuous health monitoring, and display activity.

Physically, the watch is built for utility. It features a 1.46-inch display with a 360 x 360 resolution, surrounded by an aluminum alloy bezel and a plastic casing, and it ships with a standard silicone strap.

The watch meets MIL-STD-810H durability standards, with testing for resistance to drops and extreme temperatures. It also comes with a 5ATM water resistance rating. For outdoor use, the watch features a built-in LED flashlight on the side of the case, offering three lighting modes: standard, high-intensity, and SOS flashing.

For navigation, the Hero K1 supports multi-satellite GPS and allows users to download offline maps directly to the watch. This enables route tracking and turn-by-turn navigation without requiring a constant connection to a paired smartphone.

The watch also comes equipped with outdoor sensors, including a barometer, altimeter, and compass, providing real-time information on elevation, air pressure, and direction.

On the software side, the watch handles standard health and fitness tracking. It monitors heart rate, blood oxygen (SpO2) levels, and sleep patterns, and it can log data for over 100 different sports modes. It supports Bluetooth calling through a built-in speaker and allows users to reply to WhatsApp messages directly from the screen.

Currently, the WhatsApp reply feature is limited to Android phones, though the company states iOS support is planned for a later date. Rollme has also integrated a text-based AI assistant into the companion app to handle basic queries.

The Hero K1 is available directly from Rollme’s online store in two colors: Ranger Black and Storm Gray. It is currently priced at $59.99 as part of a Double 11 promotion.
