At the flagship conference held last month where the Mate 30 series was launched, Huawei equally launched the Huawei Watch GT 2 smartwatch. The Watch GT 2 is the second-generation model of the premium Huawei Watch GT that was launched last year. The watch comes in 42mm and 46mm size. The Watch GT 2 46mm version is now on sale in China via JD.com with the pricing starting at 1488 yuan (~$209). Both the Sports and Classic versions are available.
The Huawei Watch GT2 adopts a more premium design than its predecessor with some improvements in the features. The watch adopts a 1.39-inch display with a 3D glass uni-surface. There are two control buttons at the side which looks more sturdy than those on the Watch GT.

The watch is powered by the new Kirin A1 chipset. Some of the spectacular features onboard the smartwatch includes underwater heart rate monitoring, Always-On display, Find phone feature, flashlight, notification, alarm, in addition to regulars such as sleep monitoring, remote control camera, GPS and other functions.
The Watch GT 2 supports 50 ATM water resistance and Bluetooth call from a distance of up to 150m. The watch also comes pre-installed with 13 running courses and 15 workout modes. The smartwatch comes with an ultra-long battery life that can last up to two weeks. On GPS mode the Watch GT2 will last up to 30 hours on a full charge and 24 hours when used for music playback. The battery can last for 10 hours during Bluetooth call.
