NbuChinese smartphone maker Nubia is gearing up for the launch of their latest flagship smartphone here in India. The Red Magic 3S goes on sale in the subcontinent on Oct. 17 as a Flipkart exclusive. While some of the key features of the smartphone were revealed earlier, there was no update on the pricing. However, that changed today when Flipkart accidentally updated the launch page with a banner detailing the prices.
The Nubia Red Magic 3S was mentioned with a price tag of Rs. 35,999 (~$504) for the 8GB RAM + 128GB storage variant on a banner on Flipkart’s mobile site. The pricing information is now no longer available on Flipkart listing. The landing page of Red Magic 3S on Flipkart also revealed that the smartphone will be available in a higher version with 12 GB of RAM and 256 GB of native storage. The availability of the smartphone will be announced tomorrow. Apart from revealing the key specs of the smartphone, the listing also confirmed that it will be available in two color options, namely Mecha Silver and Cyber Shade.
Nubia Red Magic 3S Specifications and Features
The Red Magic 3S flaunts a 6.65-inch full-HD AMOLED display with a resolution of 2340 x 1080 pixels and 90Hz refresh rate. The bezel-less display sports a screen-to-body ratio of 80.5% and an aspect ratio of 19.5:9. The display is protected by Corning Gorilla Glass certification. Powering the Red Magic 3S is an octa-core Snapdragon 855+ SoC with up to 12GB of RAM and 256GB of UFS 3.0 storage. The smartphone features active liquid-cooling via turbo fan.

The primary camera is a 48-megapixel Sony IMX586 sensor with an aperture rating of f/1.7. The selfie camera is a 16-megapixel unit with an aperture rating of f/2.0. The smartphone draws power from a 5,000 mAh battery with 18W Qualcomm Quick Charge 4+ and runs on Android 9.0 Pie-based Redmagic 2.0. Software enhancements include Game Space 2.1 that offers enhanced performance monitoring and game recording.
The smartphone sports a rear panel-mounted fingerprint sensor and face detection for security. As well as dual front-firing stereo speakers for an enhanced audio experience. Connectivity options include Dual-SIM 4G LTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac, Bluetooth v5.0, GPS, dual-band A-GPS, GLONASS, BDS and GALILEO, 3.5mm headphone jack and USB Type-C with a reversible connector and OTG.
