Xiaomi is finally rolling out the stable MIUI 11 update to the Redmi Note 8 Pro in China. The update isn’t very large, sized at 392MB, but that’s because this stable ROM is based on Android 9 Pie and not Android 10.

The timing of the MIUI 11 update for the Redmi Note 8 Pro is in line with the promised schedule. The Chinese variant of the phone was expected to receive the new MIUI update around early November, while the global / Indian variant is said to receive the update near the end of December. Despite being a newly launched device, the Redmi Note 8 Pro is one of the last devices to get the MIUI 11 update, both in China as well as globally.

The new update should bring interesting MIUI 11 features to the device, including a redesigned UI and productivity features. You can read the entire list of new MIUI 11 features from here.
